BOC eLinks Special Edition – ASCP BOC Seeking Proposals December 2019

Request for Proposal Opportunity - ASCP BOC Value of Certification

The American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) is seeking proposals to design and conduct research that examines the value of certification and medical laboratory science (MLS) education. We seek studies that may demonstrate the impact of certification and MLS education of testing personnel on the quality of the work product, training and readiness, adherence to protocol, retention, or other workforce elements relevant to clinical laboratories. You are invited to submit an application in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP). Please consider circulating to colleagues with appropriate experience in laboratory/healthcare administration or medical laboratory science education who might conduct relevant research.

See the ASCP BOC website for RFP and directions for submission.

Please consider posting the link on professional society or college/university research web pages and distributing by personal communication. We ask that the RFP not be placed on listservs, but is rather shared directly with suitable investigators.
